Callum McGregor on his goal scoring start to the season

After Celtic defeated St Mirren at the weekend, I spoke to captain Callum McGregor about his start to the season.

Another goal for you today, Callum, how pleasing was that?

“Yeah, it’s a good time right now; sometimes when you’re in a purple patch, things just seem to fall into place for you. It was a good strike—kept it on target, and it went in, so that was nice. When James opens up play, he draws defenders toward him, which creates space and allows him to make a nice pass. That opens up the game for us, which is great. But again, it’s always about the team and securing the three points.”
